Many of the following terms have common-sense associations many of us are familiar with. We present them here along side other ways of framing them that come from critical theorists of migration, nationhood, citizenship, and other categories of inclusion and exclusion. We present these interventions in  order to encourage our readers to think more expansively about what we mean when we speak about "refugee issues."
